Handmade Bag

Typhoon comes again, therefore I have a day off, and just now I read the newest article on Linda's blog, I am happy that her got my letter and like it. Actually the art I draw is easier and common in Taiwan, our girls are good at this kind of things. And now I want to show my Aunt's handmade bag, she made that for my Mom. My Mom is very poor at art ability in my matrilineal family. My grandma (mother side) is very distinguished, since KMT, a failure army escape from China to Taiwan, they lead Taiwan to bankruptcy. And then at that time, my grandma sold the handmade staff which made by her and also planted the vegetables, raised the chickens and ducks to support the family, and those things sold to the rich like nobility in Japan and China. For example, silk is very expensive and only for nobility or rich to use. So it was nothing if I compared with my grandma's art ability. Recently our girls were crazy to make the teddy bears as the toys. Don't ask me for that, I don't have patience to complete a teddy bears for a month.

I think our people prefer to learn longer and live longer. There are many courses to let you choose. For example, Choir, then dance can be divided into belly dancing from Middle East, Western International Dance, Japanese fan dance, Chinese folk dance, American hip hop dance and boxing aerobic dance. In addition, our people also learn yoga, Qigong, Tai Chi, Chinese martial arts and Japanese martial arts for old people. Moreover, many old people like to learn how to use the computer, languages and different art classes. So I think the retirement life in Taiwan would not be boring.

I think one day I grow old, I would still enjoy my busy but abundant life. That's why I often say that our people are very polarized. We are too practical to make money and burn a lot of money for the unrealistic dreams. Same do I.
