Santo Domingo

Finally I collected the lego toy which I wanted for a long time. That is Fort Santo Domingo. It was built by Spanish colonizers and Dutch East India Company, and this is a castle-like fort. That's why I like the appearance.
I just took several minutes to finish it. And I think it's the last city I collect. Because I don't like the Taipei's symbol, as for the symbol of Taichung city looks so great. However, Taichung Railway Station for me is the burial place of love, so this is not essential to me. Then now I have 3 cities, Kaohsiung city, Tainan city and New Taipei city, besides that, I will wait the limited train lego on 14th to take. I am looking forward that day comes soon.

The second day in New Year

I feel sleepy now, all I want is to sleep, sleep, and sleep. Last month I was too busy, and this month still be. Until today I signed in my blog, I found last night I made a mistake for my first entry of this year. So embarrased. I guess I got a sleepy new year. Yet I am a little bit looking foward to late January. As everyone knows, no pain, no gain. Therefore I need to work hard this month and then happy still end of 2011.
I checked interpals today, and there was a message amazing me, a Russian girl told me that she got a drunk party in New Year Eve. So far I still keep driking alcohol at a respectful distance.
And because I read Linda's blog, it made think of my cute figure. It is one of my toys. My new year wishes are related with this figure.

That's imporatant wish to me, and then I hope that I could also find a week or 2 weeks leave to go abroad in 2011. I still prefer to visit Asian country first. Last, bless me this year I would have enough courage for Orthognathic Surgery. Because I am really afriad of pain. However, I have to face the reality. That's all.

I got the Anping Old Fort lego

The second lego toy I drew is Anping Old Fort. It was established in 1624 A.D by Dutch and became the first fortress in Taiwan (Formosa). Originally its name was Fort Zeelandia.
The special features in the fort are the bricks used mortar which consisted of a mixture of glutinous rice juice, oyster hull powder, sand and syrup.
Also, I have pre-booked the limited edition lego train, the date I could get is on 14th January. In addition, now I really hope that I would get the New Taipei city's
Fort San Domingo which was established by Spanish in 1626 A.D.

Lego Toys

Basically our Mart is very creative and also has many attractive staff to exchange with credits you buy. But the figure toy has no attraction to me. Until Family Mart which is the second biggest mart brand in Taiwan sponsored the lego toys, I changed my mind. Lego can assemble by your hand. That's why I like it very much. I used to like to assemble many castles by lego. I want to collect it, therefore I didn't throw the credits away this time. It's my favorite toy. And the topic is 5 cities symbol. I don't know why my city is 85 skyscraper as symbol. It has no ancient history. I prefer to use The British Consulate at Takao as my city symbol, then it would be the most pretty views among the 5 cities. The second consideration is Kaohsiung Museum of History which was the Bureau Kaohsiung City Government since Japanese period. The last choise, Dragon-Tiger Pagoda is also better than 85 skyscraper. Therefore at the beginning I hope that I draw the Tainan's symbol, Anping Old Fort which was called the former Fort Zeelandia. It has the history with Dutch. I need to collect the 10 credits around 10 Euro to exchange with one. After collect all 5 cities, I also could consider to buy the small train with map.
The worst news and best news are also same, I drew the 85 skycraper. I don't know how to express my feeling, maybe my heart is bleeding. Yet at the same time I think I should love my city's symbol even it is modern building without any historical memory. Anyway, I just want to collect 2 cities or 3 cities, and then I would buy that train lego to assemble. I dislike the Taipei city's symbol.

Handmade Bag

Typhoon comes again, therefore I have a day off, and just now I read the newest article on Linda's blog, I am happy that her got my letter and like it. Actually the art I draw is easier and common in Taiwan, our girls are good at this kind of things. And now I want to show my Aunt's handmade bag, she made that for my Mom. My Mom is very poor at art ability in my matrilineal family. My grandma (mother side) is very distinguished, since KMT, a failure army escape from China to Taiwan, they lead Taiwan to bankruptcy. And then at that time, my grandma sold the handmade staff which made by her and also planted the vegetables, raised the chickens and ducks to support the family, and those things sold to the rich like nobility in Japan and China. For example, silk is very expensive and only for nobility or rich to use. So it was nothing if I compared with my grandma's art ability. Recently our girls were crazy to make the teddy bears as the toys. Don't ask me for that, I don't have patience to complete a teddy bears for a month.

I think our people prefer to learn longer and live longer. There are many courses to let you choose. For example, Choir, then dance can be divided into belly dancing from Middle East, Western International Dance, Japanese fan dance, Chinese folk dance, American hip hop dance and boxing aerobic dance. In addition, our people also learn yoga, Qigong, Tai Chi, Chinese martial arts and Japanese martial arts for old people. Moreover, many old people like to learn how to use the computer, languages and different art classes. So I think the retirement life in Taiwan would not be boring.

I think one day I grow old, I would still enjoy my busy but abundant life. That's why I often say that our people are very polarized. We are too practical to make money and burn a lot of money for the unrealistic dreams. Same do I.

Lazy Monday

Today is Monday, and I am lazy. I want to study the history of Japan, but I didn't know how to start to read, from the ancient Nara period? Or Heian period? Perhaps I can wait the letter from Yuki jyan, and then asked her about the Nara period and Heian period. I think she would like to answer to me. Also I need to find some information in this week.
Because I want to draw what I see during the travel, I decide to practice some basic training in short time. Then I can draw faster and not bad in the future. In my childhood, my painting world didn't have humans being, I just like the building and the landscape. In addition, I prefer to paint the different buildings. Above all, I love the castles except ancient chine palace. So today I painted a kind of church in France. I also don't know where it is. If you know this, you can tell me.
Originally I want to affix a seal, yet so far I don't what the text I should engrave in a seal, also it seems to very hard to me. Then I gave up, I chose to use my brush pen to write the sign. How easy and fast I done.
Later I want to take a walk or ride my bike surrounded by my home.

Am I ready?

In these days I didn't want to surf the net for a long time, also I didn't want to chat with friends longer. I read many books for Kyoto, and I asked myself am I ready to visit there and just not to be a tourist. In this way I prefer to visit to the Kyoto University, bookstores, coffee shops, traditional markets, supermarkets and convenience stores. And then I can experience the lives of ordinary people in Japan.
I have seen many Taiwanese girls who draw a lot of photos to record their journey. In addition they also send the postcards to thier selves. It sounds really great. So I will remember to combine the travel journal, photos, illustrations and postcards.
I still remember that you told me, you want to listen to more love stories of mine in the future. But I replied to you, "no, I will not do that." and then I told myself that I would like to exile my heart to the end of the world.

Hiragana Calligraphy Practice

This afternoon I bought a new writing brush in small size. Before I just bought the medium size to write the kanji in calligraphy way. I never tried to write Japanese calligraphy in 平仮名(hiragana) or 片仮名(katagana). Yet I am into the art of handwriting. My next goal is to learn how to write the Western calligraphy in Roman letters. And then I could learn how to use the quill. After I knew my ancestors put quills as the adornments and be happy to write the Roman letters in our ancient languages. I felt it is interesting and made up my mind that I must learn it well. I admit that I am a stupid person, but I believe in practice making perfect.
Next on you will see my new writing brush, and I want to inform you something in Asian calligraphy. 1 is an inkpot which contains the ink in it. And 2 is an inkstone which is used for the preparing as well as holding of ink, and then you use the brush to stain with ink. As for 3 is an ink stick. You can softly grind the ink stick into the ink stone in a circular motion until the water become thick and black. Or you can skip this step. Then the 4 is a mat cloth. 5 is like a brush pencil bag. Finally the 6 is a paperweight and 7 is a piece of paper.

I found that my right hand is a bit tired now. So I think perhaps I just can practice one page for small words in hiragana every day. Now I am looking forward to Ayaka's letter, she told me today that she would send me letter soon. And then I want to know much more 俳句(はいく haiku), in this way, I could write the Haiku not only the practice the letters.

Music Score

I forgot to upload the music score I bought. The day in Taiwan is really great. Some friends think I am too leisure, writing the blog & snail mails, playing the resin clay and also playing the piano.
That are Czerny's Etudes, and it is basic to practice again, I think I will soon record it to upload on my blog. I know that I have the poor sense of rhythm, yet I'm good at accuracy of pitch. If this time I still can not improve my rhythm, I have to spend money learning the drum.

In addition, I was amazing a 29 years-old Moali girl, she chatted with me for our DNA tests. She is simply my confidant. Now I finally believed those researches. That Maoli and other Austronesian are looking for us. But why our people know almost nothing, even I saw the reports, I am still in doubt as Taiwanese boast. Still I determine that it is ture. Yet I cannot believe this is ture.
This is extended to cover a quarter of the Earth. However, some mean people still cheated us. I just still not improve another theories, otherwise, they will cheat more people even the out of the descendants of Austronesian migration. When I saw those things and informations, it made me sad and anger. And then I decided to love the land where I was born. This is why I exist and the highest goal I toward to complete. You can laugh me why I have this kind of ambition. But what if you were me, you have been cheated for 2 decades and also became the accomplice to hurt them. Will you still help those cheaters or assume nothing happened? No way.
Even this magazine cover has been old-fashioned to report Taiwan, just it made me feel confident with my future.

Ordinary is the well-being

This week I neeed to finish my speech outline, draft and powerpoint. Then I need to review my basic business textbook, I thought I got not very good score before, it meant I didn't understand something at all. I would like to take over this difficult task, because I would like to study accounting, economics, statistics, etc. Even now I dislike the teacher who teaches me basic business, he gave us very low points. He teaches in his actively way, but he test us for that thick English textbook. I cannot imagine that I got 75/100 and this is the highest point in the class. This subject made me hate, but when I heared this teacher told us that it can help us when we study aboard. It mean I would get not bad scores when I study aboard if I learned them well in Taiwan. For Taiwan's reputation, I think I should study hard now. I believe that all the efforts will pay off. I do not know that whether there are certificates to students because of outstanding academic results. If the Netherlands has this kind of system, I will not hesitate to collect it, haha.
Perhaps this is weird to westerns, but I have planed the life plans to 30-year-old. So far I have 1 year to graduate from the university, and I am also a half-social person. Since our president got the crazy policy, it made my part-time job's salary same as other social freshmen. But the bad news is that they need to work for 9 hours from Monday to Saturday. What a dumb policy! After graduating, I will keep learning what I lack of knowledges and abilities in Taiwan, for example, I think the art material is must; otherwise I cannot be safe out of Taiwan. Moreover, I will keep saving money, recently I got a new idea to transform the part-time job to add the hourly pay. Of course I need to visit some Asia countries to gain more information. Jast as the famous saying in Taiwan,"travel broadens our horizon much better than wide-reading." No later then 26 come to the Netherlands to study the Logistics Management first then Accounting and actuarial sciences. As possible as I can make full use of time, I think I would add to France to study agriculture and Administration, followed by study the engineering and telecommunications in Finland and learn about their education, finally a PhD study in Germany, so far I know I can learn philosophy in Ph.D in Germany's system, this is the great news for me. During that period, I want to visit Egypt, Iran, Syria and Russia. Maybe I will study the Vice Dr. in Russia, who knows? My wandering journey tie in the fate of Taiwan. I have a teacher who stays in America for 20 years before he returns to Taiwan, I hope I don't need to take 2 decades to break his record. My plan sounds crazy, but I think this is the life that I want to.

About my feeling now

I don't know how to describe my feeling now, happy? sad? helpless? However, I am not sure about my ture feeling. And I just have been thinking of a word, "We did not harm others, why others still cannot give us a break?" Everyday I switched the tv on and watched the news, U.S. economic weakness, Greece crisis and the EU fears crisis...then compared with our problems, I found it is easier to handle. But how? It is an important question. Even though they do not use force to threaten us, but they are unwilling to let us go. Last night there was a gril from there to ask me if they had strong economic and the quality of people equals Western, will Taiwan people like to be a part of them?
I wanted to ask her what should be considered rich from you. Now you have the half funding from us, but we haven't bankrupt because we had given that half funding. Whatever you thought how rich you do, you still can find the beggers and any crime rate in there. But we did 2 times for no beggers, no robbers and no thiefs here. In another way, if Taiwan people are willing to buy the land with money, and the money use for improving your poor's life, how about the deal? We give you money to help your real poor not for corrupt officials, and you let us go?

The above just are my nagging and a fantastic idea. I knew it could not be, therefore all I can do is to do another trades.
World Expo recently held there, and the theme song of the Taiwan Pavilion is "The heartbeat of Taiwan." When I saw the opening statement reads: "Make a wish!", I felt helpless. And I read the lyric for "Listen with all your heart to the Heartbeat of Taiwan", I just felt our heart almost stop beating with your threaten.

A seller of vegetables

She is a seller of vegetables, so she is not very rich. And she is always low-key but donated all she can for the people who indeed. She is 61 now, never married, only has primary school education certificate, and she began to sell vegetables since she was 13. Her mother died because of illness, and she has 6 younger siblings, therefore she needed to work to keep her family. And then since at that time, not every one had the right to be sick, one of her brother was also died because of illness. In nearly half a century, she donated around $320,000 USD and adopt 3 children. And then she got the 8 of the hero ranking in The 2010 TIME 100. After Taiwan television reported the behavior of her, she refused media interviews with her, she did not want to be famous. Until recently even our president phoned to her and hoped her participate in the award for Time magazine. Much more report from here.

Even though this is a tip of the iceberg in Taiwan, our society has this kind Buddhist concept, I am still proud of her behavior. Her life is very ordinary, but her behavior is very great. She is one of my role models. I hope I can adopt more than 50 children in the future.

The Girl's Day

Today is the gril's day, and it also call "the Japanese doll festival". This festival was originally in the March 3 lunar calendar, but it changed to be held in March 3 in the Western calendar after the Meiji Restoration.

Parents set ladder-like display units for their daughter, from top to bottom, placing the doll wearing a Japanese kimono, which is called Hina Ningyo dolls in Japan.



Generally divided into seven classes put Ningyo, namely:
The first stage is a pair of the Emperor and Empress dolls.
The second stage is a three maids of honor, holding wine, glasses and wine pot.

I also want to have their Hina Ningyo dolls. It is really cute but expensive. I think today I will eat Sushi and clam soup.

I spoke a joke to record

This is the recording to my Egyptian friend, Yoyo.

She was curious that my English accent, I didn't know how to tell her, and I think that my English accent is different from Japanese and Korean, even though our old Taiwanese has the similar Japanese-English accent, but I think I am not.

Originally I record it and wanted to send to her on MSN, but it was a pity that her MSN got something wrong, then I tried to transfer my record data to be mp3 file, but the bad thing is blogspot can not upload to mp3 file to listen to, then I did a lot of failures finally succeed.

Anyway, I hope my freind can listen to it soon.

Thank you for your greets from Italy

A few days ago I recieved the messages from Itaty girl on interpals, she wrote very long message to me, and the contnet I can feel how much she loves Taiwan, anyway I was touched by her, because Taiwan is unpopular in Europe, perhaps only the French know Taiwan better them.

Because she told me that she cannot leave a message on my wall, then I modified the setting, I must admit I did a very stupid thing by it, because I saw a Chinese message soon, and he did the same thing saying, for example, we cannot allow you change the country name, you cannot be independent, or you do it, you will face fight, and then tell me that they don't want to fight, they like peace. I have already told him that I don't care about their country will take to Taiwan away, if they do it, we can rebuild soon, but he cannot convince me that I am a Chinese, I have told him that I never be a Chinese, even my country be taken, I would rather to immigrate and I can wait for the time to go back.

And then I also discussed with this Italy girl about Taiwan and China problem, she also worried about the future for us in Taiwan. What we want is not much, such a concern is enough, even I can understand how Chinese feel, I still think they are too selfish, they did bad life, and then they hope to add more poor people as them. And they only want to get our people's money but don't like us. If so, it had better young people not to repay good for Taiwan Bankruptcy. And then we all lose-lose. You cannot get what you want, no matter how we just haven't enough to eat, and you will starve to death again on climate.

There are more and more Chinese would like to immigrate and don't want to go back to China, and they think that our Taiwanese immigrate same as them, the different thing is we want to be back one day, only our fear of political chaos. If we can be unity now, and I don't need to be a displaced person.

Actually I don't love reading as a Nerd, when I was reading more and more books, it mean I am angry with policy for Taiwan at the same time, I cannot do any useful favor to Taiwan, that's why I need to study more informations.

Aw~ I want a cat to play with me

Actually I am a lazy person, then I just like playing with animals, but I don't like taking care of them at all...

Since I knew that cats are easy to keep than dogs, then I like cats much more thank dogs. In addition I have seen the vedio for Westerner training his cat to use the closestool, in this way cats don't need to use the cat litter. There would not has foul smell.

And today I saw a Taiwanese's blog, they keep a lot of animals in their home, 10 cats, and I am not sure how many dogs they have. Their cats photos are really cute, and then I knew a new breed of cats, which is Maine Coon. Oh I like their tail, and their characters are different from other cats, for example, they are good at using their forepalm to pick up stuff, therefore they will open the closets, water faucets, even flushing the toilet.

Maine Coon can go out such like a dog, and they don't afraid of dogs, because they are bigger cats. =)

This baby boy cat was interesting the fish in the fish tank, then he observed them first..

And then their keeper found that he used his tail in the water, at first they just thought his tail has no intention of falling into the water, but they finally found that he was fishing by his tail. And then fish will swim up. 0.o

Until fishes was swimming up, he made faces to scare fishes...

Haha, I knew a new breed of cats today, and it's amazing that cat do make faces, it's really interesting. No wonder there are more and more girls keeping the cat in Taiwan, most of us call pets as children...

The drama "Hi! My sweetheart"

Well, I admit that I seldom watch the drama for Taiwan and Korean idol drama, their content is usually only impractical love. It is called soap opera in Taiwan. In addition I don't like to worship singers, super idols, movie stars and actors, I think they just work for fun, and they bring entertainment to our lives, but it is just for entertainment.

But since I got the information that this drama took the photographic scenes from the Kaohsiung, then I want to see how they took the picture, and I can see our city's view. Thus I open the tv to watch this drama, and then I falled in love with this drama, because the content has touched my heart, therefore I got the emotional resonance.

The content of story is a boy who is rich but like a 7 years old simple and pure, he always be tack care by his 2 elder sisters, but he wanted to learn independence. Therefore he decided to leave KH city to China studying the university. His sisters are afraid that he was kidnapped by other bad people, then he used the fake name "Lin dalung", and he pretend to be poor to study in China. And then he met a girl who is also from KH city and born in a rich family, this girl because she is rich than other Chinese students and she is good at Judo, then nobody likes her but they cannot bully her in public.


Whatever, it is touched my heart, I also have this kind of experiences, I want to pretend the general person and let other people find real me not the things which were my family given me.
If the time could come to the last decade and I met this boy, there is no doubt that I will like him. But now I have changed a lot, and I also played the role like this boy to pretend general person, however it's no use to me. Therefore I would rather do something special.

The program in winter vacation

The winter vacation is much longer 10 days than before , and I am really expect it. So far I have planed to travel in my city by metro, because I seldom take the metro in my city, then I will buy One-Day Traveler Card to travel. This card cost 200 NT dollars, and you can take the bus, metro and ship in Kouhsiung unlimit times in a day. I think it is worth to buy, and I can eat a lot new dishes in my city. And I will make a "Takao Urban Tourism Passport" by myself. Of course, there must be inside the city's map, and I will experience to seal each station to be memento.

Then I also plan to visit by train to the east of Taiwan "Taitung Railway Art Village," where railroad exhibitions and art exhibitions.

I also want to see Van Gogh exhibition, but I'm not sure whether I will go to Taipei. Van Gogh's Starry Night is very beautiful. He is a Dutch, and actually it will certainly be one with which the Dutch blood in my 5 friends which are Taiwanese, whatever we don't know how many generations separated.

When I graduated from college, I must go to experience my grandfather's life in Penghu, and then go to check records during the Japanese occupation of the household registration in there. In this way I can finish my paternal family tree. I only know that my mother's 80% is in Pingpu blood.

In addition, I intend to find the penpals from India and Vietnam. Of course, the Japanese can be a little more. In fact, the living habits of our two countries closer, we all focus on heart feast.

This winter vacation I will keep learning Aikido, and then I might experience the Indian Yoga, I suppose I will gain abundant hearvest.
