[Supplement]The International Container Arts Festival

I 'm sorry that recently I was so lazy to write something in this blog.

But actually I did have an abundant week.

On December 30th, I went to see "The International Container Arts Festival in 2009" with my mother, and I will show my mother's picture.

How many balloons can make a container fly?
I think this idea is so great, then this woman is my mother. It's a pity that balloons disappeared at that moment...
This works through the building blocks stacked beauty and fun to play a superb structure calculation, I also really like the idea of a tension.
Work Name: Return‧Urban breath
Creators: Chen Hui-ying and Wu Tien-keng
Origin: Taiwan
I agree with this creative idea, in the past people in order to have rich material life and then damage to the environment seriously.
Work Name: NO.4488—A Journey of Love & Positivity
Creators: Chi Pong Herman Lin, Huang Yu-sheng, Hsu Pei-min, Wo Yi-ling, Liao Li-wei, Tsai Ho-li, Lin Te-yu and Hsu Po-hsuan
Origin: Hong Kong
This work's chief artist is the Hong Kong artist Chi Pong Herman Lin, who reflects on the recent Typhoon Morakot from the point of view of a Hong Kong native, and uses the container environment to console the souls of typhoon victims. The August 8 typhoon dealt a heavy blow to Taiwan, and the media showed countless scenes of grief in the aftermath of the disaster.
When I saw the works that I am grateful to the people of Hong Kong. This work attempts to blend the scriptures of these religions on the exterior of a container, and deconstructs the layout of the text to create a new form of scripture. These scriptural excerpts boldly arranged on the surface of the container create a new religious energy.
Work Name: Colin Offord
Creators: The Human Map
Origin: Australia

I think this creator's concept is cool, he quoted the famous man Schumacher's saying.
“How much economic growth is enough?”

“What is the appropriate size of a city?”

“What is the appropriate size of a country?”

“How many commodities do we need to lead the good life?”

I was happy for my city has been changing more better and better, and I'm also looking forward to this year's Kaohsiung City and County merged, but I just have the right to vote.

Takao go!
