Congratulation on Germany and the Netherlands

In recent days, I could feel the soccer fever over the world, however, we have no special feeling and no heated discussion in department of English students. But when I went to the German class, classmates will be lively discussion on the German team. As for foreign pals asked me which team I support, I just said I support Dutch and Germany. I didn't spend too much time to watch the game. Also I didn't like the bet for which team winning the Champion. Of course there are other Taiwanese friends ask me, "Don't you think we miss something in this World Cup?" Then we were frustrated since our government don't pay attention on sport or culture. Everything depends on your own until you become an international star, then the Government will say you are Taiwanese. While other Asian countries make fun of Thailand's poor, I see the protection of Thai culture. They were just unlucky to meet Soros in 1997. In addition, we also have the poor children, why don't we take care of our olders and children or poor?
