This is the first time I sent a letter to Turkey from Taiwan. About my Turkish penpal, it was a long story that we met for a long time. However, one day she asked me whether she could send the postcards of Turkey to me. But she told to me that she is busy because of her studies, and she could not write more to me on letter but for postcards. Besides that, she asked me do I want more things or gifts and she could buy for me. It made me impressed and I also sent to her a postcard when I stayed in New Zealand immediately. Until I went back to Taiwan, I recieved her postcards and was shock that she sent more than one postcard to me. Okay, it broke my impression of Turkey. In the past, I read Turkey from Germany viewpoint, Europe viewpoint, and chine's viewpoint, as well as the food and architecture from our people's thought. So beautiful country I must visit to.
And then I would introduce my city to her indeed. Every one knows that I love my city most. But last night I was a bit unhappy to hear a rude guy to criticize my city's people. I think our people are reserved in sexual relationship, it is not a bad thing at all. Just we think girls are apporpriate to guide foreign female friends, and boys guide foreign male friends. I don't think it is crzay and old-fashioned mind. Also, I don't think the motorcycle culture is an uncivil culture. He told to me every advanced country should use metro as major transportation like Japan. I feel impatiently to hear from him. In addition, if he thinks my city is uncivil because of motorcycle riders, he could decide not to come to my city. Good bye, a person who is self-observed. I really want to close my door to listen to him anymore.At last, I really hope that one day I could meet my Turkish pen pal in Turkey, she is really kind to me. Of course, I also like to treat her a great meal in my city and guide her around my city. From postcards started to keep our friendship forever.
