The thrilling experience in NZ

I still remember that date is on 6th Febuary and on Sunday morning. Originally I planed the tight plan, Friday night I took the night bus to Wellington from Hamilton, and then Saturday night I would take night bus from Wellington to Auckland, in this way, I would pass by Hamilton then arrive to Auckland at 7:00 A.M. However, my taiwaner schoolmate's homestay boarding made me cancle the original plan. The silly thing is that my taianwer schoolmate blamed me and were angry at me because of her boarding. She is so selfish, because of her, I arrived to Hamilton from Wellington at 4:30 A.M. and we just could stay in BurgerKing until 6:30 A.M., then I took the Orbiter bus to back my home around 7:00 A.M. After that I faced the thrilling thing. Every time I thought of this event, I have a lot of dissatisfaction with her.
When I walked on the half way to my home, there was a white guy said "hello" to me, and then I also replied to him "hello". Yet I didn't notice that he held the bottle on his hand, then he had a grim face to say "come here, come here". Then I found he was drunk at that time. I kept walking and ignored him, but he came to me quickly and kept saying. I admitted at that moment I was nervous, but I had to pretend to calm. So I shouted him loudly with the fierce eyes, "I will call the police." Moreoever, I held my cell phone to show him. Then he revealed the fear and said "nonono". Even he ran away, it was still shocked me.
Before this event, my homestay boarding, Shazz, had told to me because I was new there, and the people would notice me specially. And she also warned me that the area behind our house is very dangerous to go. However, my neighbor Mai lives in the dangerous area Shazz warned me. So that's why I insisted to walk to her home at morning as possible, and we walked together to take the bus to the campus.
In New Zealand, I used to take care of my friends, whatever Taiwaner students or Japanese student group. When my Japanese friends told to me that is difficult to them in my class, and then I told to them that they could ask me anytime if they cannot understand what teachers mean. When teacher asked them questions and they didn't know how to answer, I would send them note to answer or help them to answer questions. When they were badly bitten by mosquito, I have the medicine to help them.
After this trip, I think my Mom is right. She used to worry that she cannot protect me and take care of me if I go abroad, and she always thinks I am coward, therefore she trained my guts since I was little. This time I didn't cry when I was in danger. On the contrary, I had to appease the emotions of other Taiwaner. All in all, I thank my mother gave me strict education.
